My dad had bought me and Emerald for Chrismukah and it arrived in the post today.
It was sad, as I noticed it looked different to the Emerald I already had.
I did the Fake checking tests and alas, it was fake!
I am very upset and this holds up the marathon a little bit!
Well, I will post information regarding this and if a get a decent Emerald.

Chapter 6. When i saved it to my computer, because Charmander is in it, I accidentally put Charmander 6, as it become with CHA. But then I fixed my mistake in the middle of writing it! lol!

Chapter 6 - Located Darkness! Black Charmander!
We join our hero, Sparky as he is about to exit Pewter City to continue on his Pokemon quest. Joining him is his Starter Pokemon Rotom and Torchic, and his new friend Oddish. Together they make a kick-butt Frontier Brain material team!

"Hello, are you Sparky?" said a guy in a labcoat and glasses, standing at the exit of Pewter City.
"Yeh, I'm Sparky, why dya ask?"
"Well, Proffessor Oak sent me to give you this. They are called Running Shoes mark B. They allow you to run quicker. Terrains on your journey will get pretty tough and these should help!" said the guy as he gave Sparky a pair of special shoes.
Sparky took off his shoes, put on the running shoes and put his old shoes in his bag.
"You don't have to fill up your bag with shoes you are not going to ware. That's what women are for" said the guy "Let me take your shoes back and give them to your parents to look after!"
"Thanks" Sparky laughed as he gave the old shoes to the guy.
"Anyway, I best be going now!" said the guy who promptly walked off.
Sparky laughed and started walking down Route 3.

"Help! The Black Lizard has struck again! He has destroyed all of my things!" said a lady."
Black Lizard?" Sparky inquired.
"Yes, It's a small black coloured Lizard, it runs very fast so we can see it, but we can just about make out that it's a lizard. It causes destruction and it is very agressive!" answered the lady.
"Well, leave this to me!" Sparky boasted and followed the black blur nearby.
Sparky chased the blur and eventually corned it. With nowhere to run, it's true identity was revealed.
"Charrrrr.....!" growled the cute little Charmander that was coloured Black for some odd reason.
It was corned and it couldnt run. So it decided to fight!

Diamond!!!!!
Well Sam who has the Gallade pic, is going to restart his Diamond which means another game for the marathon!
Now all that is needed is Sapphire and Platinum.
Also this is what's going to happen.
From 10am-10pm every day for a week, at my house, the marathon will be done! Hopefully this is'll happen!

Chapter 5 - Vs Onix
"So challenger, you wish to challenge me; the most powerful trainer in all of Pewter City who is also a Gym Leader!" started the Gym Leader "My name is Brock and I am a master of Rock type Pokemon. I shall be using two Pokemon in this battle whereas you can use however many you want out of six. I'm allowing you to have more than me, to make up for the fact that it would be unfair otherwise! But I will beat you all the same!"
"Well I can defeat you because I have a secret weapon!" Sparky replied.
"Not even a Water type can defeat my team. They can withstand it after all their training!"
"I didn't say it was a Water type. Besides you are only the first Gym Leader. Only the first stepping stone in my mission to become a Frontier Brain!"
"So you want to be a Frontier Brain. Yes, I heard about the fact they are accepting people who have got all the badges!" said Brock.
"Well my badge case holds 50 badges to win! That's how many I need right isn't it!"
"I guess you didnt hear. They increased it to 65. However after a count, there are only 61 badges. They will include the Orange Islands Trophy as a badge which makes it 62. The next 3 will be obtained in different ways which are being thought up by the Frontier Brains, as of now!" explained Brock.
"Well I'm gonna need another badge case at some point then. But that won't stop me from becoming the best Frontier Brain Pokemon Master out there! Let's battle!"

Chapter 4 of SPA
Chapter 4 - Vs Geodude
"We are almost ready to take on the Gym Leader of this place. Only a couple more levels to go till we are at the right level to challenge him. Those levels should be gaining by beating the Gym Trainers" Sparky explained to Oddish, Torchic and Rotom.
The 3 Pokemon looked confused.
"Gym Trainers are trainers that hang around in the Gyms and to get to the Gym Leader, you must get through the maze. In the maze, there are Gym Trainers who are stationary there. If you are in their line of sight, they will walk up to you and battle you. Some Gym Trainers in the mazes are avoidable. Each maze gets harder each Gym. The first Gym is hardly a maze and there is like 1 Gym Trainer. It's avoidable but I think we should battle anyway to get the level we need. Also each Gym Trainer will use the same types of Pokemon that the Gym Leader uses" answered Sparky.
They walked into the Gym and straight to the Gym Trainer.
"You didn't avoid my line of sight! Most people avoid me, so I don't get much training and battling. So as you can imagine, i've been itching for a battle. First things first, thank you for letting me battle you. Secondly, prepare to be defeated!" said the Gym Trainer.

A strong Ground attack would have fainted Rotom quickly, but you didn't use it. That gave me the oppurtunity to use Uproar which lasts a while and finally took you down. You need to train Geodude and teach it a good Ground move to take advantage of its type!" Sparky explained.
"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind!"
"Well that was actually my first trainer battle! I've spent the last couple of days battling wild Pokemon, but that takes a while. Trainer battles give extra experience and now my levels are high enough to take down the Gym Leader!" said Sparky.
"I must warn you. The Gym Leader is tough. His name is Brock and he has two Pokemon to contend with. The first is another Geodude, but the second is Onix which is big and strong! Why do think the roof of this place is so high up. It's to fit Onix in the building without making its head bang again the ceiling!" warned Rocky.
"I'l keep that in mind!" laughed Sparky.
The first Gym battle was in a few minutes. Sparky was ready.
"Let's kick this into Electric Overdrive!"

Emerald Belongs to Me
As I didnt want to restart my Emerald cos it has cool stuff on, I wanted to buy another one for the Catch492Crew thing! I always wanted it to do the Emerald video Walkthrough I was planning to do!
So I'd do the national dex thing, then because all the pokemon would be drained off onto the final cart, I'd restart and do my walkthrough!
So yesterday for Christmukah, my dad and me bought it as a present from him! Yay!
So all I need now for the thing is Platinum, Diamond and possibly Sapphire.
Also, after the marathon finishes, I will be uploading the video walkthrough using the same video channel as a way to keep you busy before the next marathon!

A New Member
Well we have a new member. Not the other one who I was talking about. I dont know what is happening with him.
Well the new new member is known as GodSamuel and he is from PPN.
But cos it turns out he only lives a couple of hours away from me, he will come over to do the marathon!
That is the sprite that he will have but what games and stuff he gonna do is unknown right now!

Speed Gamers Unfortunately Fail

Here are the avatars for each of us to be used for the blog when we each do a blog thing. More will come and things may change but these are good so far. They are made by me DarkRotom and they have a Black colored Rotom, Red Shaymin, Gold Venusaur and Purple Palkia.
In other news the speed gamers are currently failing at their attempts so hopefully Catch492Crew will do better.
Also a very generous person will donate the Deoxys and probably the Celebi that we need for the event! Both of them will be legit and they are the only ones we can't get otherwise! They will be recieving a rare double Pokemon that we get from it. They know what that Pokemon is and I will post what it is in the near future.

Eggs and Slugs
Well the speed gamers seem to doing pretty well with almost 400 pokemon and still over 10 hours to go, so Catch492Crew should be able to do well too!
Anyway, for our bonaza certain Pokemon such as Riolu and Happiny can only be obatained from an egg, LavaShaymin was giving the job to focus on doing most of the breeding and hatching.
However as we need time, we need Slugmas with their ability to half the hatching time for eggs.
So 8 Dittos and 8 Slugmas will be caugh in advance and put in each game when we need to breed. These 16 Pokemon will not be part of the bonaza and will not count. There will be a different Ditto and Slugma for it instead!

SPA chapter 3!
Here is chapter 3 in the Pokemon story I'm writing. At first it seems it has no relevance and is just filler, but at the end it has something very mysterious and important!

Chapter 3 - Vs Pikachu
"Well guys It's almost night time!" Sparky said to his team "And i'm sure the 3 of you will all get on fine!"
Sparky turned to Oddish.
"Oddish, What's that you got there. Is that an Everstone? You don't wanna evolve. Well I wouldnt want to evolve you anyway. You're so cute at this stage! So just hang on to the Everstone! Hehe!"
The group were about to go to sleep, but were woken up abruptly!

"Piiiiiiiii!!!!!!" shouted a voice in a crackly voice.
"What was that! Sounds like a Pikachu shocking something. Let's go find out!" said Sparky.
Sparky and his 3 team members ran towards the voice and saw a wild Pikachu trying to knock down some food from a tree.
"Hey Pikachu, you need help there!" Sparky said as he took the food off the tree and gave it to Pikachu.
Pikachu wanted to do it himself as it was stubborn! It attacked!

"Well I caught a Pikachu. I already have an electric type in Rotom so I'll put Pikachu in the box. Besides it's a bit stubborn and angry so I don't think it'll listen well in battles. What was weird is that this Pikachu knows Volt Tackle which it can only learn via breeding with Light Ball! And this Pikachu is holding an Aspear Berry which is completely different to a Light Ball. Seems as if it's pretty rare. Let's put it the box when we get to Pewter City! We set up camp here and then tommorow we get to Pewter City, sort things out and then train for a bit!" Sparky explained.
The team set up camp again and went to sleep for the night.

The next morning, Sparky, Rotom, Torchic and Oddish got to Pewter City. Pikachu was deposited in Sparky's box system. Then the team got to training.
What Sparky didn't notice is that a strange dark shadow flew over him.
"Raiiiiii" it growled.

The group were about to go to sleep, but were woken up abruptly!

"What was that! Sounds like a Pikachu shocking something. Let's go find out!" said Sparky.
Sparky and his 3 team members ran towards the voice and saw a wild Pikachu trying to knock down some food from a tree.
"Hey Pikachu, you need help there!" Sparky said as he took the food off the tree and gave it to Pikachu.
Pikachu wanted to do it himself as it was stubborn! It attacked!

"Well I caught a Pikachu. I already have an electric type in Rotom so I'll put Pikachu in the box. Besides it's a bit stubborn and angry so I don't think it'll listen well in battles. What was weird is that this Pikachu knows Volt Tackle which it can only learn via breeding with Light Ball! And this Pikachu is holding an Aspear Berry which is completely different to a Light Ball. Seems as if it's pretty rare. Let's put it the box when we get to Pewter City! We set up camp here and then tommorow we get to Pewter City, sort things out and then train for a bit!" Sparky explained.
The team set up camp again and went to sleep for the night.

The next morning, Sparky, Rotom, Torchic and Oddish got to Pewter City. Pikachu was deposited in Sparky's box system. Then the team got to training.
What Sparky didn't notice is that a strange dark shadow flew over him.
"Raiiiiii" it growled.

Part 2 of SPA like I promised!
Chapter 2: VS Oddish
"Yo guys, you coming! We have a long treck ahead of us! Viridian City is up ahead and then we got Viridian Forest! It's very long and maze like! But it's near the beginning of my trainer journey, so it shouldnt be too hard! It will get tougher later, but at the moment it's nothing!" Sparky said to his team.
They walked up through route 1 and into Viridian City. They came to the gym in the city.
"Seems like only trainers with 7 Kanto badges can get in. It's a bit stupid to put the last gym at the beginning. But I'll be back here once I've won the 7 gym badges. Shouldn't take too long!" Sparky said.
They walked up to Viridian's exit.
"Here it is, the green and big Viridian Forest. It is said that people born from here, have healing powers and can understand the thoughts of Pokemon. It'll be usefull to know someone like that!"
They walked into the forest!

"I'm gonna put you guys back into your Pokeballs and call you out when needed. I want you guys to conserve your energy. This place can get pretty hectic!"
The forest was just green everywhere. Hardly a place to describe. You couldn't describe it. It was just plants everywhere. You couldn't even see the skies through the treetops. There was no backing out now. Sparky was deep in the forest and there was no escape.
"Come on self, you can deal with this. Your gonna be dealing with tougher challenges on the way to being a Frontier Brain. This is pre-1st badge things. Completely basic. Maybe I should bring out my team to keep me company. Then I'm gonna capture another Pokemon or two to boost up my ranks. Then when I'm safely in Pewter City, i'll go back to the end of this forest and train in it! Yeh, that's what I shall do! Come on out Rotom and Torchic!" said Sparky to himself.
Torchic and Rotom came out of their Pokeballs.
"Guys, It's gonna get dark soon, so we need to find a way out of here! Rotom, I need you to float up and see what way the exit is. Then point it out to me!" said Sparky to his team.
Rotom floated upwards through the thick treetops, shuffled around for a bit and finally made its way up into the sky. Rotom looked around and saw which way Petwer City was!
It floated back down and pointed North-East to Sparky.
"Then North-East it is! Let's go!" Sparky exclaimed.
They marched onwards through the forest.
But then something happened!, a wild Pokemon!

Sparky's Pokemon Adventures
Hi it's DarkRotom
I am not just a Pokemon player but an author too! That's right, my actual job is to be an author! Anyway on this blog i'm gonna post my new Pokemon story which is awesome! It is called Sparky's Pokemon Adventures.
It features a kid who has a Torchic and a Rotom as they travel through all the Pokemon leagues trying to get 50 badges/symbols in order to become a frontier brain!
I have written the first two chapters and I'm gonna post the 1st up in this post and the 2nd one in another post in a few minutes!

Chapter 1 - New Journey! Unfullfilled Soul!
"No my child! He is only 5! Leave him be!" said the worried parents.
"Sorry, but all the kids here belong to us. They will grow up working for us. They will be promising members to our organisation!" said the mysterious people.

5 years later

The mysterious guy was just a kid. But his skills were amazing. A truly amazing member of Team Rocket. He was strong and his Crobat was amazing. However he wasn't using his skills for Team Rocket. He was escaping.
"Goodbye Crobat. You were my friend and I'm sorry you were part of this too. Now is the time we both leave Team Rocket. But I will release you and you will have a good life! I'll miss you! Goodbye!" said the guy to Crobat.
They escaped through the vents and into the outside world. No more Team Rocket life!

The Sinnoh Region was the home of Sparky. He was born in Twinleaf Town. When he was a baby, his parents moved to Kanto. But when he was very young, he went missing for a few years. He was found by his parents, living in the Hoenn Region.
He then was taken back to Kanto. He was citzen of Pallet Town.

While in Hoenn, Sparky had met his lifelong friend. Torchic was a small cute fire bird. It was 3 years old when Sparky met him.

3 years later

Sparky was 13 years old and Torchic was 5 years old. Kanto life was good and Sparky had recovered from his childhood problems.
His uncle Koga had gone missing and that was the only problem.
Sparky knew Koga could take care of himself, but Sparky said he would keep a watch out for Koga. Koga was a gym leader in Kanto's Fuschia City.
Sparky decided that he wanted to be a Sinnoh Frontier Brain. There can be 5-7 Frontier Brains in a Battle Frontier. Sinnoh had 5 and that meant there were going to be up to 2 oppenings. Most people were not good enough to be Frontier Brains and you would have to have at least 50 badges. However that was the day, Sparky got his 50 badge case!
He knew he would have to collect many different badges from many different regions and become a Pokemon Master. It just so happened that in a few days, he would start his journey to be one!

"Ahhhhhhh, we are gonna be late. Come on Torchic! We gotta get to the lab and get authorized for the Kanto League! Let me get out my Pokedex. So then I can present it to the proffessor as Identification for the computer system the proffessor has!"
Sparky and Torchic ran to the lab!
"Proffessor! It's me Sparky! I wanna join the league!" Sparky shouted.
"Wow, don't rush. You're not late or anything. You have no need to rush anyway. You already have a Pokedex and Pokemon. But to sort out the league, I'm going to have to give you a Pokemon anyway. It can't be a starter as you already have one. But in order for the system to work, you gotta be given a Pokemon. In fact I found this strange Pokemon the other day. It was inside of the TV I imported from Sinnoh. It seems to be a Rotom. Rotoms are very rare electric ghost Pokemon found in the Sinnoh region. They can take over electrical appliances. It has caused me loads of trouble with my electronics at home, so please take it off my hands! It should do better in training! Now let me just imput that into the system. But as Rotom won't get into a Pokeball and it's still wild, you are gonna need to catch it. Here are some Pokeballs. Use Torchic to capture Rotom!" Explained Proffessor Oak.

"Don't mention it! Just doing my job. I should be thanking you actually. Rotom was a pain in the keester. It's very mischevious. Be warned!"
"Don't worry. By the time I'm done, Rotom and Torchic will be the excellent foundation for the greatest team in the world!"

New Member Much?
Hi DarkRotom here! Your team leader!
New day and new plans for the national dex collecting in a few months.
Christmukah is gonna be hectic and loads of Pokemon Gameplay to get the games we need to win out of the way, so we can start fresh next year!
Earlier today, I asked my friend Mitch who recently started Pokemon if he wants to join the Catch492Crew!
He said he will try and he will focus on playing Pokemon Sapphire! Because of this, possibly every Gen3 and 4 game will be played!
So once he chooses a good nickname, I'll put him on the Team List!
Please note that other members may change their names and as it's early on everything is in draft!
See you guys later!

We are the catch492crew and we from mid 2009 for a couple of months and will play all gen3 and 4 pokemon games and capture 492 pokemon completely legitly without hacking or even semi-hacking! We aim to have them all on a Pokemon Platinum Cartridge in order.
